This Nissan Skyline GTR was intended for occasional track use.
Main loop with back braces to rear wheel arch with a cross tube for strength a seat belt attachment.
Front diagonal on driver's side only plus removable cross bar still allows access to back seats if necessary.

Full roll cage with back braces, cross brace and diagonals to transmission tunnel.

Door X bars and extra angled brace to support forward tube. Just visible are the dash bar and bar above the screen.
Back bracing to rear strut tower, X-bars in rear door opening, X-bar in main loop and just visible at the bottom a cross tube tied into the floor tunnel.

This Toyota Chaser was imported into the UK  for use in drifting competitions. It was already heavily modified with Nissan running gear but had no driver protection.
